Project Brief

Wasel Gifts is a new gifting platform that aims to empower users to send and receive Wasel Credits worldwide as a gift. Wasel Credits enables users to purchase from partnered local stores benefiting them with range of discounts. Using iBeacon technology and unique algorithms, Wasel Gifts creates a user friendly virtual environment for users to find great deals on the platform.

Version 1 of the app was created in Autumn 2016 and, following several bugs and conceptual reiterations, we are now pushing forwards with version 2 as our first public release end of 2017.

We are now looking to a potential development of Version 2 which will include

• QR Scanning when purchase

• Add friends and friend list

• Referral method for exposure

• Rating merchant and social interaction

• Promotion sales on the platform

• Website development for increased exposure
